First remove EGR Valve bolts then separate EGR Valve from its position before removing the EGR Valve Gasket. You must clean the mating surface for the EGR Valve before inserting the new gasket along with the EGR Valve onto the Intake Manifold. For securing the EGR Valve utilize the bolts while applying a torque of 30 n.m (22 lb ft) according to the fastener notice under service precautions. The installation ends when you reconnect the EGR Valve electrical connector followed by reinstallation of the egr pipe.
