Start by removing the egr pipe prior to disconnecting the electrical connector of the EGR Valve. Start by extracting the EGR Valve bolts from their position and proceed to remove the EGR Valve before finishing with the EGR Valve Gasket separation. The mating surface of the EGR Valve needs cleaning before installing both the new gasket together with the EGR Valve onto the Intake Manifold. Install the EGR Valve after securing it with bolts which should be tightened to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Also connect the EGR Valve electrical connector. The last step requires installing the egr pipe.
