First unfasten the 3 exhaust crossover pipe nuts connected to the right Exhaust Manifold, elevate and stabilize the vehicle. Secure the Catalytic Converter out of your work area by removing its 3 mounting nuts that fasten it to the Exhaust Manifold. First remove the 3 Exhaust Manifold heat shield bolts before proceeding to remove the heat shields (1, 2). You need to remove the 3 Exhaust Manifold nuts before pulling out the Exhaust Manifold and its attached Exhaust Manifold Gasket.
