How to replace the canister purge valves on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

To replace the evap canister purge solenoid valve, when doing so, first, turn off the ignition. Disconnect the evap canister purge solenoid hose/pipe, along with the electrical connection. To remove, the retaining bolt and evacuate the evap canister purge solenoid valve from the Intake Manifold. For installation, place the evap canister purge solenoid valve on the Intake Manifold and bolt into position with the 10 n.m ( 89 lb in ), bolt for retainer. Following the addition of the valve, refasten the hose/pipe and the electrical connector.
