  A: The first step to replace the fuel filler tube begins with checking the Fuel Tank to maintain less than 1/4 of its capacity then draining the fuel if needed. Raise the vehicle while supporting it at the appropriate height before you remove the right rear tire and wheel followed by the inner liner of the wheelhouse. First remove the fuel filler tube clamp before detaching the fuel filler tube followed by its vent tube and fresh air hose from the Fuel Tank. Remove all two fuel filler tube bracket bolts followed by removing the fuel filler tube from the vehicle together with its closeout grommet and separate the fresh air hose from the fuel filler tube. Thread and tighten the two fuel filler tube bracket bolts to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Place the fuel filler tube connecting hose until it meets the body of the Fuel Tank while keeping its clamp positioned inside 13 mm (1/2 in) from the end of the hose.
