  A: To replace the Starter motor for rpos lze lz4 lz8 disconnect the negative Battery Cable this is then removing the front lower air deflector panel and torque cover converter. Then remove the nut from the Starter solenoid bat terminal , followed by the positive Battery Cable terminal and engine harness terminal from the Starter. Remove the Starter through unbolting it and removing the electrical connector. For the installation, position the Starter motor against the engine and install the Starter bolts while the bolts are tightened with 43 n.m (32 lb ft). Attach the Starter motor electrical connector, next, install the engine harness terminal and positive Battery Cable terminal to the Starter so that the positive Battery Cable terminal anti-rotation feature is in the right position. Mount the Starter solenoid bat terminal nut with a tightening force of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Finally, install the torque converter covers, the front lower air deflector panel as well as re-connect the negative cable of the battery.
