How to replace the alternator for RPOs LZE/LZ4/LZ8 on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

To replace the generator for rpos lze/lz4/lz8, one should disconnect the negative Battery Cable and remove the Drive Belt. Move the protective boot from the generator output bat terminal to a different location, then undo the generator output bat terminal nut as well as the engine harness terminal from the generator. Remove first the generator bolt and stud, the generator bolt comes next, then the generator comes out. You will then disconnect the generator electrical connector. For installation, set the generator in position then install the generator bolt until snug it should be tightened the bolts/stud to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Complete the connection of the generator electrical connector and mounting of the engine harness terminal to the generator. Then install the generator output bat terminal nut to a 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Lastly, reposition your protective boot to its generator output bat terminal, put the Drive Belt, and rearrange your negative Battery Cable.
