The generator replacement installation for rpos lze-3.5l flex fuel and lz4-3.5l gas and lz8-3.9l flex fuel requires completion.5l flex fuel, lz4-3.5l gas, and lz8-3.begin replacement of the rpo lze-3.5l flex fuel or lz4-3.5l gas or lz8-3.9l flex fuel generator by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Next, remove the Drive Belt. You need to relocate the protective boot from the bat terminal of the generator output while also removing the generator output bat terminal nut. First detach the generator engine harness terminal then disconnect its electrical connector. The procedure begins with generator bolt and stud removal and then moving to generator bolt extraction before removing the generator as the last step. Position the generator in its proper spot before tightening the bolts/stud to 50 nm (37 lb ft) torque while keeping the bolts snug. Rejoin the generator electrical connector to the harness terminal before securing both items to the generator. Preventative boot goes back to the generator output bat terminal as we apply the terminal nut with 30 nm (22 lb ft) torque. Follow up the Drive Belt installation by reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
