  • Q: How to replace the auxiliary blower motor on 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer?
A: The instrument panel assembly requires removal before starting the process of replacing the auxiliary Blower Motor. Cut power from the electric connectors running to the Blower Motor-auxiliary then unfasten the air outlet duct from the Blower Motor-auxiliary. Unscrew the two screws and five screws that fasten down the Blower Motor-auxiliary to remove it. Start the replacement by positioning the Blower Motor-auxiliary into its intended place while adhering to the fastener notice. Fasten retaining screws (2, 5) onto the Blower Motor-auxiliary while torquing them to 10 n.m (88 lb in). The air outlet duct should be reattached to the Blower Motor-auxiliary then electrical connectors will connect to the Blower Motor-auxiliary before the instrument panel assembly goes back into position.
