How to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2008 GMC Acadia?

In order to change the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, empty the cooling system. Disconnect the engine wiring harness to the ECT sensor, take off the old sensor and fit in the new sensor. Reconnecting the wiring harness and sliding the heat shield to the down. Lastly, replenish the cooling system.
