  A: Service of the Valve Stem Oil Seal requires using j 38820, j 44222, j-44228-a, and j 44226. Start by separating valve train parts during disassembly to put everything back together correctly. Start with 50 psi air setting before filling the cylinder to protect the crankshaft from moving. Position the vehicle on stands and detach the torque converter access plug. Place the j 44226-3a 15 mm holding bar on the torque converter bolt to stop the crankshaft movement before lowering the vehicle. Put j 44222 on the Cylinder Head before work to prevent any damage to the timing chain parts. Adjust the horizontal bolts on Camshaft sprockets to keep the timing chain taut before you shift the sprockets and timing chain away from the camshafts. Put the Camshaft caps into a designated holder for better engine installation afterward. Put air pressure through the cylinder using an appropriate fitting after you take out the Camshaft caps and camshafts. Apply j-44228-a pressure to the valve springs, take out the valve keys with j-44228-a, extract the valve spring retainer and spring using j 38820. Before adding oil to the valves clean the Cylinder Head and put new oil into the valve's stem. Use the j 38820 to place valve seals into position before adding the valve spring plus valve spring retainer. Repeatedly push valve springs using the j-44228-a tool while positioning valve keys back in place and taking out the j-44228-a.
