How to replace the Leaf Spring Shackle on 2008 GMC Sierra 1500?

The spring shackle should be substituted by lifting up the car and supporting it then taking out the spring leaf assembly. Unscrew shackle nut and bolt, screw the shackle to the spring then screw the shackle nut and bolt and tighten them. Install the assembly of the leaf springs again, dismantle the safety stands, and lower the car.
