How to replace the lash adjuster on the right side on 2009 Cadillac CTS?

You should remove the involved Camshaft(s) by following the Camshaft replacement - right side (SFI) procedure before changing the Lash Adjuster on the right side. After that, take off the rocker arms by using the valve Rocker Arm removal - right side instructions. After that, take out the adjusters by carefully following the Lash Adjuster removal - left side (LY7/LP1) and Lash Adjuster removal - left side (DI) procedures. After the removal, clean and check the Camshaft(s) and Rocker Arm(s), fixing or changing them as needed, using the Camshaft cleaning and inspection and lash adjusters cleaning and inspection instructions. Begin installing by putting on the adjusters as described in Lash Adjuster installation - right side, then fit the rocker arms as described in valve Rocker Arm installation - right side, and afterwards, put in the Camshaft(s) using Camshaft replacement - right side (SFI).
