- Q: How to replace the cellular communications/digital radio antenna on 2009 Cadillac DTS?A: Starting with Cellular Communications/Digital Radio Antenna replacement requires lowering the headliner from the car without destroying its structure. First disconnect the antenna cable connection which sits above the AM/FM antenna module then take off the foam tape from the joint. Take out the digital radio antenna by removing the antenna bolt and expansion sleeve first followed by disconnecting all digital radio antenna connectors. Place the digital radio antenna on the vehicle's roof and run the wiring pigtail into the slot on the antenna shaft while maintaining a side position. First install the antenna expansion sleeve along with its bolt onto the antenna shaft then tighten the bolt to 6 Nm (53 lb in). Attach antenna connectors while covering them in foam tape. After installing new clips to safe the antenna cable at the AM/FM module position reinstall the antenna cable and complete the headliner assembly installation.
