• Q: How to replace the digital radio antenna cable on 2009 Cadillac DTS?

  A: To change the digital radio Antenna Cable, start by removing the rear sail panel and rear assist handles, remember to treat the headliner with extra care so as to not damage it; in case you are recycling, put it flat onto a clean surface. Lower the rear of the headliner then remove the Antenna Cable from the clips and detach Antenna Cable connection to the front of the am/fm Antenna module to remove any foam tape that might be on it. Unplug the Antenna connector from your radio Antenna and use some wire or string to tie onto the end of the Antenna Cable. Next you must remove the left rear compartment trim panel and disconnecting the Antenna Cable connection from the digital receiver. Then, take the Antenna Cable off the clips and rear harness and then pass it to the rear compartment, and then take off the wire or string from it. For installation, fasten the wire or string to the new cable and carefully pull Antenna Cable in the passenger compartment away from the wire or string.
