  A: The first step to replacing a left-hand drive passenger compartment air filter requires removing the air inlet grille panel. The filter access cover needs to be removed after you use both hands to release the tabs situated on either side which will then allow you to lift it upwards. Caretfully remove the filter from the filter housing before using your fingers to ease out the filter housing while it separates itself from the sheet metal. Take out the filter housing which serves the passenger area. Start by placing the passenger air filter housing in its position before pushing it until every sheet metal clip properly attaches for an effective sheet metal to housing seal. Insert the filter into the filter housing after which install the filter access cover with the air inlet grille panel as the final step.
