How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2009 Cadillac SRX?

You need to take out the lower air deflector and passenger side front wheelhouse liner to install a new Windshield Washer Pump. Direct washer solvent into a suitable vessel before you disconnect the electrical power connector and washer hose from the middle pump. Take the washer pump off the washer solvent holder. Before adding the washer pump to the container apply washer solvent on its intake nozzle to make installation easier. Then put the washer pump into place and lock it in position tightly. After positioning the washer pump into the washer solvent container you can reinstall both parts of the wheelhouse lower liner. Join also the electrical connector and washer hose to the pump. Raise the hood and add fresh washer solvent to the reservoir before checking whether the pump works correctly before lowering the hood.
