How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2008 Cadillac SRX?

After removing the lower air deflector you must then take off the passenger wheelhouse liner to access the pump. Remove washer solvent to a proper container before detaching the washer hose and electrical plug from the center washer pump. Pull out the washer pump from its storage slot in the washer solvent tank. Use washer solvent to grease the pump intake nozzle before inserting it into the washer container. After installation position the washer pump tightly to keep it secure. Reinstall both the filter bowl's connection to the washer pump unit and the washer hose. Then put back the passenger-side wheelhouse liner and lower air deflector. Open the hood to put new washer solvent in the container then check if the pump works properly before closing the hood.
