How to replace the fuel pressure sensor on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

The Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor replacement process begins after disassembling the right rear wheelhouse liner panel followed by eliminating the EVAP canister access cover. Unplug the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector from the right side fuel tank module before gently removing the fuel tank pressure sensor out from the fuel tank. First apply clean engine oil to the fuel tank pressure sensor rubber grommet before installing it into the top of the fuel tank module followed by connecting the electrical connector. You should replace the right rear wheelhouse liner panel while reinstalling the EVAP canister access cover.
