How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2009 Chevrolet Colorado?

Before you replace the Turn Signal Switch you must detach the Steering Wheel and extract steering column trim pieces. Detach electrical connections and take out the wiring harness from its holder when necessary. Pull the bolts holding the Turn Signal Switch along the steering column and ease the switch off the column. When you add a new Turn Signal Switch use its centering tab to line up the component before you start the installation process. Position the standard switch in the center before attaching it to the steering column. Fit the Turn Signal Switch onto the steering column space and secure it with bolts at 7 nm (62 lb in) torque specification. Run the wire harness assembly through the steering column and connect its electrical links before putting it into retainers when required. When done take off the centering tab before adding steering column trim covers and putting back the Steering Wheel.
