The next step requires installation of the j 41240-5a (Fan Clutch Wrench) on the Fan Clutch nut followed by use of the j 46406 (Fan Clutch Remover and Installer) to lock the pulley before removing the Fan Clutch assembly. Check the belt alongside the hub adapter and pulley for any signs of cracks or distortion as well as damage. Next apply the cooling fan against the Fan Clutch. Use the j 41240-5a to tighten the Fan Clutch assembly nut to 95 nm (70 lb ft) after placing the Fan Clutch assembly on the pulley with the help of the j 46406. The concluding step is to put back the upper Fan Shroud.
