You need to drill out the rubber stakes that secure the heater core cover and afterward remove the screws of the cover before you can take off the cover. Finally, remove the heater core. The first step in installation requires the heater core to be properly placed before installing the heater core cover. Fit the heater core cover screws followed by tightening them to 1.5 Nm torque setting which equals 13 lb in. The center floor air outlet duct goes back in its position while upper floor air outlet duct screws receive similar torque installation. Complete the procedure with the reinstallation of the HVAC module assembly.
