How to replace the LH Motor and Transmission Mount on 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?

To fix a left transmission mount, the first order of business is to take out the tray and battery. Increase the support of the powertrain with both a floor jack and a wooden block. Next, after removing transmission mounts to bracket bolts & transmission mount to body bolts take out the transmission mount from the vehicle. For installation, align the left transmission mount back to the vehicle while make sure to install the transmission mount to body bolts and tighten to 25 nm (16 lb ft). Afterwards, the left transmission mount should be installed to transmission bolts, and fix them with 50 nm (37 lb ft). Lastly, take the floor jack supporting the engine off and return the battery and tray.
