How to replace the steering knuckle in the rear suspension on 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?

Begin Steering Knuckle replacement by lifting the vehicle and using supports after removing tire and wheel assemblies from the suspension. The rear wheel bearing hub assembly needs to be removed after the park brake cable is disconnected from the Trailing Arm. The knuckle maintenance process starts with removing the lower shock absorber bolt from the knuckle and continuing with the toe link to knuckle bolt then the rear coil spring and stabilizer shaft to knuckle bolt and lastly the upper control arm to knuckle bolt. Put the knuckle onto the upper control arm before installing bolt along with nut. You should install the coil spring followed by the stabilizer shaft to knuckle bolt then the toe link to knuckle bolt and nut. Notable care must be taken throughout the fastener installation process. Secure the Trailing Arm to knuckle bolts until torque reaches 180 nm (133 lb ft). Then focus on tightenting the lower shock to knuckle bolt.
