You need to follow this process for replacing the oil level indicator tube by first taking off the A/C line bracket nut and removing the A/C line bracket from the oil level indicator tube stud. After disconnecting the oxygen (O2) sensor electrical connector from the oil level indicator bracket users need to remove the oil level indicator tube stud. Extract the tubular indicator before pulling out the tube from the engine block. Insert the oil level indicator tube into the engine block then apply the specified sealant from Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers onto the threads of the oil level indicator tube stud. Position and tighten the oil level indicator tube stud to 10 Nm (89 lb in). Secure the A/C line bracket onto the oil level endpoint tube using a nut that must be tightened to 7 Nm (6 lb in). Complete the procedure by connecting the O2 sensor electrical connector then finally placing the oil level indicator into the tube.
