The replacement process for the Throttle Body assembly begins with air cleaner resonator and outlet duct removal. The first step starts with disconnecting both the throttle control module's evap canister purge pipe and the engine wiring harness electrical connector tied to the Throttle Body control module. After removing the throttle control module bolts install the Throttle Body control module together with its seal from the Intake Manifold while thoroughly cleaning the gasket surface. Position a new seal into the Intake Manifold groove before you install the Throttle Body control module onto the Intake Manifold. Secure the Throttle Body control module bolts through a torque setting of 10 nm (89 lb in). You should reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the Throttle Body control module at the same time as you connect the evap canister purge pipe to the Throttle Body control module. Reinstall the air cleaner resonator alongside the outlet duct.
