How to replace the electronic navigation antenna on 2009 GMC Envoy?

First disconnect the electrical connector from the navigational radio before removing the navigational radio. First cut the instrument panel (I/P) assembly partway from the i/p structure to expose the Antenna module retaining screw. Remove the screw which holds the radio Antenna module in place to the cross-car beam before extracting the Antenna module from the vehicle. Secure the Antenna module into its position by docking it to the cross-car beam while tightening the screw to 2.5 nm (22 lb in). First reinstall the i/p assembly and reconnect the navigational radio's electrical connector after which install the navigational radio unit.
