How to replace the front brake line on 2009 GMC Envoy?

Install safety caps on brake pipe fittings before you uninstall the brake hose bolt from the frame. Detach the brake hose bolt from the brake caliper and remove the brake hose from the vehicle while taking out metal gaskets that may be stuck to the brake components. Insert new copper gaskets into brake hose ends before installing them on both the hose and bolt. Fit the brake hose fitting bolt to its place on the brake hose fitting before slipping the brake hose assembly onto the caliper. Then tighten the bolt to 40 nm using the correct tools. Set the brake hose bolt onto the car frame and fasten it to 20 nm (15 lb ft). Insert the brake hose into the brake pipe fitting. Put the rubber plug back on and tighten hand-to-hand settings to 25 nm. Put brake fluid into the master cylinder reservoir then do the hydraulic brake system bleed process. Place the tire and wheel unit back on the automobile then release it to the ground.
