How to replace the Fan Shroud Upper (Mechanical) on 2009 GMC Yukon?

The first step to replace the engine coolant fan upper shroud (Mechanical) requires the removal of the air cleaner outlet duct by unclipping its clamps from the Throttle Body and mass airflow sensor. Proceed with removal of the Throttle Body heater hose retainer and also remove the inlet radiator hose retainer from the Fan Shroud when they are present. The Fan Shroud retainers and bolts need removal as a first step before removing the upper Fan Shroud. To install the upper Fan Shroud position it properly then fasten Fan Shroud bolts with a torque of 9 nm (80 lb in). Reinstall the Fan Shroud retainers while adding the inlet radiator hose retainer and Throttle Body heater hose retainer when those components exist on the Fan Shroud. Reinstall the air cleaner outlet duct while tightening its clamp at the Throttle Body to 4 nm (35 lb in) and mass airflow sensor clamp to 4 nm (35 lb in).
