How to replace the Fan Shroud Upper on 2010 GMC Yukon?

The first step to replace the engine coolant fan upper shroud begins with unfastening the clamps holding the air cleaner outlet duct to both the Throttle Body and mass airflow sensor before removing the duct. The installation begins by extracting the throat body heater hose retainer and inlet radiator hose retainer from the Fan Shroud of units which include these components. Begin by taking off the Fan Shroud retainers along with its bolts then eliminate the upper Fan Shroud. Position the upper Fan Shroud properly and fasten the Fan Shroud bolts before tightening them to 9 nm (80 lb in). The installation process includes putting back the Fan Shroud retainers while the Throttle Body heater hose retainer and inlet radiator hose retainer should be attached to the Fan Shroud when present. To complete the install position the air cleaner outlet duct and secure its clamp at the Throttle Body to 4 nm (35 lb in) and at the mass airflow sensor to 4 nm (35 lb in).
