    Q:
How to replace the Mechanical Fan Shroud Lower Section on GMC Sierra 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step for replacement of the engine coolant fan lower shroud (Mechanical) requires removal of the Radiator following standard replacement procedures. The next step requires users to detach the two clips holding the Radiator into position. The lower Fan Shroud should be equipped with an Engine Oil Cooler hose clip which must be removed from its position. Next disassemble and take away the shroud unit from the automobile. Set the lower Fan Shroud into position by placing it at Radiator support center then connect the Radiator's two clips. For vehicles with engine oil coolers one should install the oil cooler hose clip to the lower Fan Shroud. Installation requires the complete following of replacement procedures for the Radiator.
