    Q:
How to Replace a Radiator Hose for Inlet on Cadillac Escalade? Posted by Customer
    A:
As the first step for inlet Radiator Hose replacement you must drain the cooling system content. To perform this task loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamps which secure both the Throttle Body and mass airflow/intake air temperature sensor before you remove the duct. Examine the engine sight shield for removal in case it is needed. Start by detaching the radiator vent inlet hose from its clips on the radiator while also moving its clamp to the radiator and finally removing the hose from the radiator. The next step involves removing the inlet hose clip from the Fan Shroud after repositioning the inlet hose clamp from the water outlet to extract the inlet hose from the water outlet. The inlet hose must be fitted to the water outlet before adjusting the outlet hose clamp. Reposition the Fan Shroud inlet hose clip before you join the inlet hose to the radiator and position its clamp. Reconnect the radiator vent inlet hose to the radiator inlet hose clips before putting back engine sight shields when needed as long as the duct outlet arrow faces the Throttle Body stud. Finish the installation by attaching the air cleaner outlet duct while tightening clamps to 7 nm at the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor position. Then proceed to fill the cooling system.

    Q:
How to Replace a Radiator Hose on a 4.3L Engine on Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace radiator inlet hose on 4.3l engines is to drain the cooling system. The first step involves disconnecting the maf/intake air temperature sensor assembly from the air inlet tube through unclipping the hose clamps before releasing the positive crankcase ventilation hose from the air cleaner duct. The air inlet tube and resonator can be removed through removal of the wing nut and vertical pivoting motion until the hinge clip disengages from the Throttle Body. Move the radiator inlet hose clamp into position and detach the hose from the radiator before relocating the clamp at the Thermostat Housing for easily removing the hose from there. When installing the new radiator inlet hose it must be connected to the radiator while being clamped into place at the Thermostat Housing. Insert the hose on the support before you align the hinge clip with the Throttle Body lip and then install both air inlet tube and resonator by moving them downward until the mounting stud passes through the air inlet tube hole. The resonator installation requires use of the retaining wing nut while reattaching the pcv hose then adding the maf/iat sensor assembly and air inlet duct with tube clamps tightened to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). Finally, fill the cooling system.

    Q:
How to replace the water pump outlet cooling hose on Chevrolet Suburban 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the Water Pump outlet pipe, one should start by removing the left front fender wheelhouse inner panel and proceed by taking out the Water Pump. Next, unplug the Water Pump outlet pipe from the Engine Oil Cooler assembly, parting with the o-ring seal (Fig. C). Clean the ring of sealing once it has been removed. For installation, install a new o-ring seal on the Water Pump outlet pipe, slightly lubricated with engine oil. Mount the Water Pump outlet pipe into the Engine Oil Cooler assembly, after which attach a fresh outlet pipe to Water Pump, and then install a Water Pump outlet pipe to Water Pump gasket. Finally, install the Water Pump and the left front fender wheelhouse inner panel.

    Q:
How to replace the inlet radiator hose on 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L engines on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement procedure of inlet radiator hoses on 4.8l, 5.3l, and 6.0l engines begins with draining the cooling system. Begin by unfastening clamp connections of the air cleaner outlet duct to both Throttle Body and maf-iat sensor before removing the air cleaner outlet duct. Several steps might require removing the engine sight shield. Alongside the task of radiator inlet hose removal), one should first detach the radiator vent inlet hose from its clips and position the inlet hose clamp to the radiator before removing the hose from the radiator. First detach the inlet hose clip securing the Fan Shroud before relocating the inlet hose clamp to the water outlet. This allows removal of the inlet hose from the water outlet. Attach the inlet hose to the water outlet while placing the inlet hose clamp in its proper position. After installing the inlet hose clip to the Fan Shroud proceed with connecting the inlet hose to the radiator while repositioning the inlet hose clamp. The radiator vent inlet hose must be reattached to radiator inlet hose clips but an engine sight shield only needs installation if required. Install the air cleaner outlet duct only after confirming the arrow points towards the Throttle Body attaching stud. Tighten both air cleaner outlet duct clamps to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.) at their positions on the Throttle Body and maf-iat sensor. Complete this work by filling the cooling system.

    Q:
How to replace the radiator hose outlet on Chevrolet Suburban 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
A necessary first step for radiator outlet hose replacement includes cooling system drainage. The outlet hose clamp must be shifted from the position on the radiator before you detach the radiator outlet hose from its radiator connection. Place the surge tank outlet hose clamp into position then take out the surge tank outlet hose from the surge tank. Next move the outlet hose clamp off the Water Pump and remove the outlet hose from the Water Pump. During installation start by hooking up the Water Pump outlet hose and then placing its clamp on the pump base. Mount the surge tank outlet hose to the surge tank while placing the surge tank outlet hose clamp in position. When finished install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator while positioning the outlet hose clamp on the radiator. After completing these steps fill the cooling system.

How to replace the radiator hose inlet on GMC Yukon XL 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the Radiator vent inlet hose demands draining the cooling system. First position the Radiator vent inlet hose clamp to a different location then remove the hose connecting to the Radiator. Q:
How to Replace the Inlet Radiator Hose (8.1L) for Service and Repair on GMC Sierra 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement process of the inlet Radiator Hose (8.1L) begins with draining the cooling system fluid. Remove the inlet hose from the Radiator by moving the clamp on top of the Radiator. The replacement of the inlet hose starts with relocating the clamp at the water crossover and removing the hose from this point. Begin installation by putting the inlet hose onto the water crossover followed by clamping it down using the inlet hose clamp at that location. Begin by adding the inlet hose to the Radiator before placing its clamp at the Radiator location. You must complete the cooling system filling as the final step of this operation.
