Starting the replacement of the inlet Radiator Hose requires draining the cooling system fluids. Begin by loosening the clamps that secure the air cleaner outlet ducts because they surround the
Throttle Body and mass airflow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor locations. The Radiator outlet hose requires removal of its clip before removing the air cleaner outlet duct. The engine sight shield needs removal if required. The Radiator vent inlet hose demands removal from its clips on the Radiator before securing the inlet hose clamp at the Radiator position. First cut off the inlet hose clip from the
Fan Shroud before extracting the inlet hose from the Radiator followed by positioning its clamp at the
Water Pump before removing the same hose from the Water Pump. To install the hose system first attach it to the Water Pump and then clamp it at the Water Pump location. Install the inlet hose at the Radiator before applying the inlet hose clamp to its position. The Radiator vent inlet hose requires installation to the Radiator inlet hose clips after securing the inlet hose clip onto the Fan Shroud. Reinstall the engine sight shield by matching the arrow at the Throttle Body end of the duct with the Throttle Body attaching stud before inserting the air cleaner outlet duct. Position the Radiator inlet hose clip onto the outlet duct after installing it to the outlet duct and secure the air cleaner outlet duct clamp screws at the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor locations to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.) torque and fill the cooling system.
