Start Water Pump replacement by taking off the air inlet duct and draining fluid before disconnecting the inlet
Radiator Hose. Start by uninstalling the upper
Fan Shroud plus cooling fan with assembly and
Drive Belt. Unplug the radiator outlet hose from both the coolant pump and surge tank along with the heater hose before you can take out the Water Pump. First put the Water Pump in place and then attach the surge tank hose followed by the heater hose. Fit the outlet Radiator Hose back to the coolant pump before placing the Drive Belt and cooling fan with clutch assembly plus the upper Fan Shroud. Attach the inlet Radiator Hose to the Water Pump before putting back the air inlet duct. Check if the cooling system holds liquid properly and search for any fluid leaks before continuing. Using seal tabs or similar products in the cooling system should be avoided because they affect coolant flow and increase the risk of engine overheating or breakdown.
