How to replace the Coolant Pipe on the Radiator Surge Tank Outlet for 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L engines on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the radiator surge tank outlet hose/pipe on 4.8l, 5.3l, and 6.0l engines, the first action will be to drain the cooling system. Loosen the clamps of the air cleaner outlet at the throttle body and maf/iat sensor and remove the air cleaner outlet duct. If the vehicle has no rpo c36 for the auxiliary heater, unclip the surge tank/heater outlet hose from its mount. If provided with rpo c36, so. Deploy j 43181 heater line quick connect release tool on the surge tank outlet hose (black connector) by having it close over the hose, and pulling it into the quick connect end. Tighten your grip with an outlet hose and pull outwards to disconnect it from the heater and blower module of both configurations. Reposition the surge tank outlet hose clamp at the surge tank, remove surge tank outlet hose from surge tank and from Water Pump, remove surge tank outlet hose. In installation, install the surge tank outlet hose extension to the Water Pump and the clamp location. Then, mount the surge tank outlet hose to the surge tank and place its clamp. If you have rpo c36, attach the surge tank outlet hose to the heater and blower module but make sure it clicks to hold. Perform the same for the vehicles without rpo c36. Mount the surge tank/heater outlet hose to the mounting clip for both configurations. Replacing the installer and tightening the clamps, at the throttle body and maf/iat sensor lever each 7 nm 62 lb in. The arrow at the throttle body end on align the throttle body attaching stud. Q:
How to replace the Engine Coolant Pipe for LH6, LY5, LMG, L76, and L92 engines on GMC Sierra 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Engine coolant air bleed pipe (307) for lh6 ly5 lmg l76 and l92 engine replacement begins by removing the Intake Manifold if rear coolant air bleed covers need replacement. First drain your cooling system by removing the air cleaner outlet duct. You should first off the radiator vent hose clamp located at the air bleed pipe connection then disconnect the hose from its fitting point. You need to first remove bolts (309) from the coolant air bleed pipe (307) and take out both parts along with seals (308). Lift out the coolant air bleed cover bolts (312) and along with them the covers (313) which include seals (308) if replacement is needed. Discard the old seals. Starting installation by placing the o-ring seal (308) against the pipe nipple before putting seals on either the coolant air bleed pipe or covers. Install the Cylinder Head's coolant air bleed pipe (307) and seals (308) by tightening bolts (309) to 12 nm (106 lb in). Secure the cover bolts (312) by torquing them to their specified value unless alternative attachments include seals (308) together with covers (313). Screw the radiator vent inlet hose back to its place while installing a clamp at the fitting. After filling the cooling system, return the air cleaner outlet duct and reinstall the Intake Manifold if rear coolant air bleed covers needed replacement.

How to replace the Coolant Pipe on 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L engines on GMC Yukon? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the radiator surge tank outlet hose/pipe on 4.8l, 5.3l, and 6.0l engines, drain cooling system beforehand. Pull off the clamps that secure the air cleaner outlet duct at the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor and remove the air cleaner outlet duct. If the vehicle does not have rpo c36 auxiliary heater, then we have to remove the surge tank/heater outlet hose from the mounting clip. If equipped, do the same. Quick connect the heater line to the surge tank outlet hose (J 43181) with the black connector by clamping it around the hose and pulling it into the quick connector end. Strongly pull and disconnect the outlet hose from the heater and blower module, independent of how tingled the heater blinds the rpo c36 give us a very fast background and which offer us a visor to visit does not mean we are going to be lacking the goods and at the same time move our experience in a clean to offer the tool set. Now change the position of the surge tank outlet hose clamp at the surge tank, now the surge tank outlet hose is removed from the surge tank and the Water Pump, after that the actual surge tank outlet hose is removed. During the installation process, begin by installing the surge tank outlet hose connecting it to the Water Pump and fix the clamp. Next, connect one of the surge tank outlet hose to the surge tanks and direct its clamp. If equipped with rpo c36, attach the outlet hose to the heater and blower module making sure it clicks in. Mount the surge tank /heater outlet hose to the mounting clip if required and reinstall air cleaner outlet duct mating with the attachment stud of the Throttle Body. Lastly, it's time to tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamps at the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor to 7 n.m (62 lb in) and fill the cooling system.

Starting the replace process requires the removal of the Intake Manifold when the rear coolant air bleed covers need replacement. Continue with the following step if necessary. Drain the cooling system and next remove the air cleaner outlet duct. The radiator hose clamp should be repositioned to open up the coolant air bleed pipe fitting before removing the hose from this tube. Using your tools remove the bolts attached to the coolant air bleed pipe (309) before taking out both the pipe (307) and the parts (308). Remove the coolant air bleed cover bolts (312) and the covers (313) and their seals (308) but discard all seals afterward. First inspect the nipple end of the pipe for the o-ring seal (308) before setting both seals onto the coolant air bleed pipe (307) or covers for installation. Secure the coolant air bleed pipe (307) and its seals (308) to cylinder heads while ensuring proper torque of 12 nm (106 lb in) on the coolant air bleed pipe bolts (309). The installation starts from placing coolant air bleed covers (313) and seals (308) into position followed by tightening coolant air bleed cover bolts (312) to 12 nm (106 lb in).
