    Q:
How to replace the Coolant Pipe for the Radiator Surge Tank Inlet on Cadillac Escalade? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before you can replace the Radiator surge tank inlet hose/pipe, you should first drain the cooling system using the vac-n-fill method. Then, slide the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the surge tank and take off the surge tank inlet hose from the Radiator. Then, adjust the surge tank inlet hose clamp so it's at the surge tank and take out the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank. As the first step for installation, put the surge tank inlet hose onto the surge tank and fit the surge tank inlet hose clamp onto the surge tank. After that, join the surge tank inlet hose onto the Radiator and place the surge tank inlet hose clamp onto the Radiator. At the end, use the vac-n-fill system to fill the cooling system.

    Q:
How to replace the Engine Coolant Pipe without AFM on Cadillac Escalade? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the engine coolant air bleed pipe (307) without afm, first remove the Intake Manifold if changing the rear coolant air bleed covers. Next, remove the air cleaner outlet duct and drain the cooling system. Move the radiator vent inlet hose clamp at the coolant air bleed pipe fitting, then wrench off the radiator vent inlet hose from the fitting. Unscrew the coolant air bleed pipe bolts (309) and remove the coolant air bleed pipe (307) as well as seals (308). In the event that so, replace the coolants air bleed cover bolts (312) and covers (313) with new seals (308), getting rid of the seals afterward. For a place, put the o-ring seal (308) on the nipple of the pipe and install the seals on the coolant air bleed pipe or covers. The coolant air bleed pipe (307) and seals (308) are attached to the cylinder heads and the coolant air bleed pipe (307), while making sure not to release the bolt by tightening it to 12 nm (106 lb. In). If applicable, install the coolant air bleed covers (313) and seals (308), coolant air bleed cover bolts (312) to 12 nm (106 lb in). Connect the radiator vent inlet hose back to the coolant air bleed pipe fitting and place the radiator vent inlet hose clamp. Clean and replace the air cleaner outlet duct, fill the cooling system while if rear coolant air bleed covers were replaced, installation of the intake aluminum is required.

    Q:
How to replace the Engine Coolant Pipe (without AFM) on Chevrolet Silverado 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement of the engine coolant air bleed pipe (without AFM) requires initial removal of Intake Manifold when you work on the rear coolant air bleed covers. Continue to the following operation if you skipped this one. First drain the cooling system then remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Before you disconnect the radiator hose from its fitting you should relocate the clamp. First remove bolts (309) from the coolant air bleed pipe and disconnect both the pipe (307) and its associated seals (308). Seals (308) cannot be reused so replace both the coolant air bleed cover bolts (312) and coolant air bleed covers (313) when necessary. First install the o-ring seal (308) onto the nipple side of the pipe before placing seals on both the coolant air bleed pipe and covers. Secure the Cylinder Head-mounted coolant air bleed pipe (307) and seals (308) in place through tightening bolts (309) with a torque of 12 nm (106 lb in). You should tighten bolts (312) securing cover (313) along with seal (308) until torque reaches the same figure. Return the radiator vent inlet hose to the fitting on the coolant air bleed pipe and install its clamp into position. Set the air cleaner outlet duct into place while finishing with a cooling system fill. The Intake Manifold requires installation when rear coolant air bleed covers receive replacement.

The first thing to do is put the surge tank inlet hose onto the surge tank and secure it with the surge tank inlet hose clamp. After this, connect the surge tank inlet hose to the Radiator and put the surge tank inlet hose clamp onto the Radiator. Finally, fill the cooling system.
