The radiator outlet hose replacement process begins with disconnecting the maf/iat sensor assembly from its connection to the air inlet tube by unlocking the hose clamp next to unwinding the pcv hose from the air cleaner outlet duct. Users can detach the air inlet tube and resonator through a removal of the retaining wing nut followed by upward movement until the hinge clip frees itself from the
Throttle Body. Drain the coolant from the system and move the radiator outlet hose clamps following their correct positions on the surge tank and
Water Pump. Detach the radiator outlet hose from both surge tank and Water Pump before moving the clamp back to the radiator and finally removing the hose. Attachment of the new radiator outlet hose begins with fixing it to the radiator then placing its clamp before connecting the hose to the Water Pump and surge tank. Position all clamps properly during the process. The hinge clip should align with the Throttle Body lip while installing the air inlet tube by pushing it downward until the mounting stud enters the hole in the air inlet tube before tightening the resonator retaining wing nut. Finish the cool system filling while securely fastening each clamp of the pcv hose to the air cleaner outlet duct at 4 nm torque (35 inch lbs).
