  Q: How to replace the outlet radiator hose on Chevrolet Avalanche 1500?

  A: The cooling system requires draining before starting installation of the new outlet Radiator hose. Unfasten the clamps connecting the Throttle Body to the outlet air cleaner duct and mass airflow/intake air temperature sensor. Remove the duck after disconnection. Lift the hose outlet clamp off the Water Pump before extracting the outlet hose from the component. The procedure continues with relocating the outlet hose clamp from the Radiator before pulling away the outlet hose from the Radiator. First install the outlet hose at the Radiator before clamping it into place. Install the outlet hose onto the Water Pump before clamping the hose in position while making sure to position the arrow mark at the Throttle Body end of the duct with its attaching stud. Place the air cleaner outlet duct followed by the Radiator inlet hose clip for positioning onto the outlet duct. Secure both air cleaner outlet duct clamp screws at the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor position with a torque of 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). Finally, fill the cooling system.
