To protect both the hydraulic flexible brake hose and brake caliper turn the mount bolts loose then hold the caliper steady with strong metal wires. Begin by taking out the brake caliper and bracket together as a piece then proceed to remove the Brake Disc bolt and Brake Disc. When putting in a fresh Brake Disc you should wipe its friction surface with brand-free alcohol. Use the j-42450-a wheel hub resurfacing kit and the j-41013 rotor resurfacing kit to prepare smooth surfaces of the hub/axle flange and disc hub/axle flange. Mount the Brake Disc onto its position and tighten the Brake Disc bolt to 7 nm (62 lb in). Fit the brake caliper and bracket assembly on top of the steering knuckle before tightening new brake caliper bracket bolts to 150 nm at 111 lb ft torque with 45 degrees plus 15 degrees pretension. Reinstall the tire and wheel after putting back the Brake Pad and disc into service.
