How to replace the rear brake calipers on 2010 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to replace the rear brake caliper, lift and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly. Turn off the Parking Brake Cable adjuster, and while taking out the brake hose fitting bolt without reusing the brake hose fitting gaskets from the brake hose. Plug the brake hose fitting to avoid fluid loss and contamination, remove the Parking Brake Cable retainer and disconnect the Parking Brake Cable from the actuator lever and place the cable end away. With the use of hand tools only, use an open end wrench to hold the caliper guide pin with the back up wrench while the brake caliper guide pin bolts are removed. Take off the brake caliper, then take on the new brake caliper by using the back up wrench to stabilize the guide pin and tightening the guide pin bolts to 27 nm (20 lb ft). Then replace the mounting bolt back that bolts the Parking Brake Cable to the actuator lever . And install the Parking Brake Cable retainer. Assemble the brake hose fitting bolt with two new brake hose fitting gaskets onto the brake hose and mount the brake hose assembly onto the brake caliper and tighten the fitting bolt using a 40 nm(30 lb ft). First, bleed the hydraulic brake system, then engage the Parking Brake Cable adjuster before reassembling the tire and wheel assembly.
