First disconnect the cmp sensor electric wires then remove two bolts to take out the sensor and bolt pair. Consumers should check the sensor o-ring for possible damage before continuing if they choose to keep the current sensor. Pre-installation lubrication of the new o-ring with clean engine oil must be carried out after inspecting its condition before performing cmp sensor installation. All fasteners of the vehicle must be handled with care to prevent damage to the vehicle. After connecting the electrical connector for the cmp sensor properly, secure the cmp sensor bolt with 10 nm torque (89 lb in). Then reconnect the electrical connector to the cmp sensor. The last step is to put back the Power Steering Pump.
