The first step for Fuel Level Sensor replacement requires the removal of fuel tank module NU6 or NT7. Operate with safety through demands of forced air ventilation system, fuel system opening protection by plugging or capping and instant cleanup of spills and avoidance of sparks together with warning signs for others during work. Two flat bladed tools should be used to carefully extend the locking tabs while simultaneously lifting the level sensor. A small bladed tool will insert the electrical terminals and simultaneously extract them. To install the electrical terminals insert them through the outside holes before softly tugging on the wires to check their secure position to complete sensor installation by locking in the locking tabs. Verify that the level sensor wires maintain contact with the module and sensor before placing back the fuel tank module (NU6 or NT7).
