Start by taking out the passenger bucket front seat and then removing the battery positive cable nut along with the battery positive cable at the front underhood electrical center or junction block. The first step entails moving the passenger side front floor panel carpet away from the rocker panels and marking the retaining clips on the body harness before detaching the harness from any bracket assemblies. Disengage the body harness while removing its tape in the passenger area and disconnect the battery positive cable from the harness before using a tool to push the dashboard grommet into dislocation. The engine compartment procedure includes untaping the body harness and detaching the battery positive cable from this harness before extracting the cable both from the harness and from the vehicle.
