How to replace the windshield wiper arm on 2010 Cadillac CTS?

You can begin replacing the Wiper Arm by first positioning the wipers in park mode then opening the hood unit. Position the driver side wiper onto the lower center windshield orange dot and put the passenger side wiper onto the right lower side orange dot 50.8 mm away from the Wiper Blade tip. Remove nut covers and take out the wiper nut from its shaft on the drive arm. If the Wiper Arm stays fixed to the drive spindle apply j 39637 Wiper Arm puller to remove the arm. Use a fine wire brush to clean the wiper drive pivot shaft knurls after removing the Wiper Arm and then slide off the Wiper Blade from the Wiper Arm. Mount the Wiper Blade to the Wiper Arm before installing both items onto the Wiper Arm drive pivot shaft. Position the Wiper Arm at the passenger side to match the tip with the orange dot at the lower windshield edge while setting the Wiper Arm at the driver side to match the tip with the orange dot at the lower center of the windshield. Secure the Wiper Arm bolt onto the shaft with your fingers and tighten it to 32 nm (24lbft). Test wiper operation including wash and park position while making sure the driver side wiper stays within the wiping coverage.
