To fix the front Brake Disc j55 you must lift and support the vehicle then take off the tire and wheel unit first. Secure the brake caliper using strong mechanic wire threads to protect the hydraulic brake hose during removal of both components together. The Brake Disc layer safeguards against corrosion so you should not refinish it. Check the disc surface and replace the part when refinishing becomes essential. Before taking out the disc mark where it faces the hub. Wash the hub/axle flange and Brake Disc mating surface using j-42450-a wheel hub resurfacing kit and j-41013 rotor resurfacing kit. During installation place the new Brake Disc onto the mating surfaces without any trapped debris and align it with the prior matchmark. Return the brake caliper and bracket with the wheel and tire parts in their proper position. Afterward you should smoothen the brake pads and discs to finish the renovation work.
