You need to raise and hold the vehicle before taking out the tire and wheel set to replace the front Brake Disc j55. Secure the brake caliper with strong mechanic wire to shield the brake hose from damage when you thread out the brake caliper assembly. The Brake Disc's protective coating should stay intact and you need to check its surface only. Replace the disc if refinishing becomes essential. Note the disc attachment points to the hub before you take off the parts. Thoroughly clean the hub/axle flange with j-42450-a tool and Brake Disc surfaces with j-41013 tool. Use these tools only on non-friction areas to preserve the corrosion protective coating of the disc surface.
