  A: Start the Hood Cable replacement process by opening the hood then unfastening the Hood Latch. Start by eliminating the front wheelhouse liner then expose the hood release cable retaining clips before you unfasten the hood release handle mounting points to the vehicle structure. Make another string section to secure the hood release cable to the hood release handle before you put it through the passenger side of the vehicle. Pull the wheel opening hood grommet away from its position while extracting the hood release cable from the whole vehicle.
