How to replace the Lash Adjusters on the left side on 2010 Cadillac DTS?

First, to displace the lash adjusters, take out the left valve rocker arms. Then remove the stationary hydraulic lash adjusters (SHLA) from the bores and procure lash adjusters and clean them. It is very important not to stroke or cycle the shla plunger with no oil in the lower pressure chamber; fill shla with clean engine oil at careful moment not scratching the pivot sphere area of the shla. Later, the new shlas should be fitted into the bores and only then the left valve rocker arms must be reinstalled.
