How to replace the outer CV Boot and CV Joint on 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

In order to change the wheel drive shaft outer joint/boot, take off the wheel drive shaft and cut into the swage ring. Take off boot clamp, clean the CV joint and check the damage. Grease up the CV joint boot, install a boot clamp and then reconnect the wheel drive shaft.
