You should start by shutting off the ignition system before you proceed to work on the Camshaft Position Sensor on bank 2 (Left Side) intake (LP1, LY7) while leaving the power steering fluid lines/hoses in place. The technician must first remove the bolts securing the power steering fluid reservoir to move it out of the way. First disconnect the electrical connector from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor then remove the cmp sensor bolt followed by removing the sensor. Install the cmp sensor properly by putting it back in position and torque the cmp sensor bolt to 10 nm (89 lb in). Reaffix the electrical connector of the cmp sensor after it has been tested. Install the power steering fluid reservoir at this point.
